Writing: Contrasting Laws

In this written piece that I titled "Contrasting laws" I compared and contrasted the laws of the United States and Ecuador. I found this to be one of my most interesting pieces and its also probably the one that I learned the most from as I had to do a lot of research before arriving at my end product. It was very interesting and fun to write; I really enjoyed it!

Trigonometric Circle

This piece, my trigonometric wheel, is one that was made through much effort. At first matching the degrees with their respective sine, cosine, tangent, etc was very difficult for me but after a few weeks I found out that it was possible without the wheel. My wheel was and has always been a useful tool for me and helped me start getting adjusted to circles and the formulas in order to find the angles of a circle. If it weren't for this circle I wouldn't have improved and truly understood the circle as I now feel I do.

Heart Of Darkness Thematic Essay

The Heart of Darkness Essay is the piece that I am perhaps most confident about. I feel all my experience on writing essays really showed in this work and because of my strong opinions on this book it was a lot of fun to write. The book that I read in order to write this essay was also very fascinating and I feel that it was very powerful. It showed how it is important to look at all the sides of a story rather than just blindly believe whatever people say or write.

Reflection: This year I have accomplished many things. I have managed to write summaries in great detail. Not only are they detailed but they are short, sweet, and to the point. Also, I have written much more about powerful or difficult topics that have a great impact not only on the individual but on groups of people. The accomplishment this year that has surprised me the most this year has been my visuals and art overall. I am not usually very good at artistic tasks but this year I gave it my all and I feel it showed in my results.
