First Day of High School
Reflection: I feel these pieces of work reflect all of the hard work and effort I have put into this school year, they show what I have achieved this school year. They represent the best quality of work I have made this year and they are the things I am most proud of having created. I can say with pride, that I am the one that created these works. If I could have spent more time working on these works I would have added more detail and background to my story. I would have also tried being a more careful when making the color wheel, it is pretty difficult to work with water colors, you have to be careful when spreading it or it will be a big mess! I feel I did a good job but it still was a little sloppy. Also, I feel the strengths of my works was that they are detailed and thoroghly thought out. I feel that one thing I still need to work on is being careful and taking my time when doing any form of work because if you make even one mistake your grade could go down drastically. It is the difference between a 100 on a test or a 90, or maybe even lower! Overall I would say my portfolio shows the strengths and weakness I have discovered I have. It shows that I am pretty well rounded, I can write an interesting detective story that is not only detailed but is structured properly. I can make a color wheel with water colors that is actually pretty neat. The greatest weakness I have is that sometimes I overlook some small details. Next year I will make sure I improve and will look at rubrics to make sure I have all required components. This is my goal!
